Can you run a stage 2 Hot Cam without hardfaced rockers if
you are running the FST oil cooler?

You don't need hardened rockers for the hot cams. Just put it in and your ready to rip. BTW do you already have a piston??? This cam is designed for built motors, if you have the stock piston, you will want to go with the stage 1 hot cam.

I have a 416 built by profab atv with 11:1 comp, porting, larger valves, etc. I know the cam they put in was the xr400 one which I hear isn't much of an improvement over stock. I was thinking that a cam would be a pretty easy way to gain some power.
do NOT use hardened rockers with the hotcams.
the cooler should not have anything to do with what cam you can run with what rockers. yes, the cooler may help keep the cam and internals a little cooler though.

How much and where do I get one. Will I notice much improvement over the xr cam? I need all the power I can get!
