New Berlin, NY - After another 3 week break, the AMA ATV Motocross Championship Racing Series resumes for Pro Round 7 at Unadilla Valley Sports.
Honda's Joe Byrd remains control of the points lead, but with a few weeks to recover, Suzuki's Dustin Wimmer will be gunning for his 3rd straight win at Unadilla, and Kawasaki's Josh Creamer & Chad Wienen have plenty of momentum heading to New York with each winning at the last two rounds, which makes for an exciting chase for the Pro ATV Championship.
On Saturday, the weather was beautiful till the start of both Pro practices with rain clouds moving in at the start of both sessions, which turned the track into a mud slick.
Suprisingly, Nick Denoble was out practicing because earlier in the week, he notified us that he would not be in attendance due to a wreck, but instead Clay Holmes didn't make it this weekend as he has been reported to have crashed and injured his shoulder, but nothing has been confirmed on his condition.
