I have a 1999 YZ125 i took the head and cylinder off and the cylinder has some some ware but can be fixed by honing. The bike overall is in great shape suspension was built by VPE one of the top suspension experts. Tires have about 85% tread and the chain and sprockets are still good. Mods include Tag T-2 bars and clamp, FMF fatty pipe and powercore II silencer, VPE Porting

Piston and rings will cost about $120 to get the bike runing like a bandit. $900 for the whole bike i can get you pics of the bike and inside the cylinder
