this is no back yard engine shop, my machinest is in concord nc he does nas and busch cars for a living,but enjoys the **** out of small engines.
reguardless who you go with on a engine,you will get what you pay for,dont listen to the local shops.if the man dont have his own flow bench and does his own valves. you are getting nothing.

Quadcustoms, I'm really looking to avoid downtime. This is why I want a built motor. From the looks of things it ain't happening so I may opt for motor work on my motor but not for $2000. That's a bit steep for my blood. I'd be expecting a whole engine w/ piston and cam for just over that figure.
