blaster is stuck in reverse!

my 91 blaster has 6 speeds all backwards!
the thing does not go forward!
anyone ever hear of this dilema?

possible broken keyway that holds magneto. causes timing to be off

Yea, something is causing it to start backwards.
Stupid question, but has the kickstart been replaced. You are still kicking it back, right? Like a motorcycle.
If so, then I'd go the timing route. It should be obvious when you start it. Does it pop or backfire when you kick it?

search this on all the blaster sites. theres an answer to it. i forget what it is. you put something in backwards, i jsut cant rmemeber off the top of my head what.

did you roll backwords when u started it with out the clutch being held in some how
