How do you tighten chain on a 300ex? Please help fast!!!

How do you tighten the chain on a 300ex? I don't have an owner's manual. I need to know very soon. Could you explain how to do it in detail. Thanx

    #1. ask your father.

    If #1 doesn't work, then try #2.

#2. standing behind the 300, look at the swingarm. You'll see 2 allenhead bolts pointing up and down. Use the allen wrench in your toolkit and loosen them up, you don't have to remove them, just loosen them up. Now over by the sprocket there's a round thing with 3 grooves (slots) in it. It's round, not as big as the sprocket, sets betwen the sprocket and swingarm. Use the allen wrench in the slots to turn that towards you. The more you turn that round thing, the tighter the chain gets. After you've set the tension on the chain, tighten the two allen bolts back up again.

If you don't understand, either find a friend that can show you or take your bike back to the dealership and let them show you.

And have someone whack your dad upside his head. J/K! lol
