    Question Front end clicking sound

I think i have a problem with something on the front end of my 300ex. If i cut the wheels all the way one way, then turn them back, it make some kind of clicking noise from the front end. does anyone know what this is?

WB400ex, that has happened to me before, its kinda funny acually, i was changing my front tires on my 300ex, and i put one side on, and then tightened the bolts, then when i put the other side on the hub, the phone rang and i went inside, so when i lowered it off the jack, i forgot that i hadn't put the bolts on the other side, and when i backed out and turned, off came my tire......it was funny lol

i had the same problem, the problem might be the steering steam bearing, on my 300 if i turned the handlebars it would sound like almost a knocking noise. hope this helps.

It sounds like a ball joint to me. I use to have two 300 4x4's. After they got older when you turned them the front end would make a clicking sound. I was one of the ball joints going out.
