Actually you should keep that 16 tooth, and even get a 36 tooth rear. Drag racing is more top end than you think. keep the stock gearing and your gonna be blown away at the end of the track all the time. You see my mods in my signature and im running a 16/36 gear. It sucks for hill climbs but thats when I switch gearing.
And also the large gearing keeps your front end down. Makes feathering the clutch alot easier.
Also you'll probably be beating more Banshees than Raptors. Get all them mods and You should be about equal with a stock Raptor, add a carb and you'll beat him...... but than he'll just add an exhaust and it will be neck and neck again
