Anyone Outrun a YFZ?????

i seen a raptor beat a yzf after about a 1/4 mile

ive seen a 450r pioleted by a honda factory rider beat alot of yammi's and other quads.

I hate to say it but both a banshee and a raptor have out run me.
Now this was going down the train tracks in top gear. The top speed of the yfz ain't really high. But I kill them until I top out.

in a hundred yard drag race I haven't been beat yet. Banshess, Raptors, Preds, Banshees, 400 Ex's, 250 r's, 265 r. Really no one has even come that close. Different story if you talk top end...

The only quad that I have line up againts and totaly smoke is mikes walsh KTM 520. That thing is a yfz killer.

im pretty sure that walsh's latest ktm
is a 525

if so then the stupid think comes from the factory
with 60ish horse power

how many yfz or 450r are making that horse power

walsh is kinda in a win win situation

stock predator has what, 45 hp. A piped YFZ has lets say 45hp. A piped YFZ will rape a stock predator. Just because something has more horsepower don't always mean it is going to be faster. The CRF and YZF engines access their horsepower so fast it will make up for a loss in horsepower. I'm not saying the 525 isn't quicker than a YFZ, but I think a piped YFZ or a Piped TRX450 with a higher compresion piston and better cam would give a KTM quad all it wants. And maybe more, that's just my opinioin.
