41 FCR owners with 440's....please read

Just trying to figure out exactly where I should have my air/fuel screw set at on my 41 FCR with my 440 engine. I'm having problems keep the idle smooth, it idles almost like a Harley and I'm also getting that "bog" when dumping the throttle. I'm assuming that I'm too rich on the bottom.

    Any help would be appreciated....Thanks!!

Start the the fuel screw 1.5 turns out on that setup with a 52 pilot. Make sure you give it time to warm up before you make any other adjustments.

Colby.....that fuel screw that you sell....what exactly does it do? Is it just something to make easier to adjust without turning the carb and getting a long screw driver up in there?.....also, thanks for the advice!
