Does anyone know what size headlight bulb is in the 450R?

30w, I want to get some of the bright white bulbs for mine. I'm sure at least the bulbs are interchangable from the 400ex to the 450r. Either way I'd have to find out where to get the bulbs.

FYI, PIAA just recently came out with a new bulb for atv use that takes your existing 35W system and ups the lighting like a 55W system, They say it's bright!!

So this one on that link tfor piaa is the one that will fit the r? Or do you think I should wait to purchase the bulbs.

I am pretty sure these will fit!! I talked to a dealer 7 weeks ago about the 450r coming out and if the bulbs would fit, (they didn't have any in at the time). He thought they would. But I would wait until they are listed in the Piaa parts list for the R before I purchased. Unless that is ya pulled the one from your new bike and compared the two to see if they'll fit. I'm sure that Piaa will have them listed soon for the R if they have not done so already. Let us know when ya get them and how they work for you if you get them before I do.
