    Exclamation I Have a 250ex and i want to know the best things to do to it to make it rock/ POWER

    Ok check it out i have this 250ex and i can ride great but now everyone that i ride with has 400's and **** ...... i can beat most of thim just in riding abillity. But coming out of turns and everything they just eat me in the straights ..... ... .. wats the mods for a 250?

    I want it to be faster / top and bottem end

    it dosnt have enough power --- i can ride banshees and 400's perfect but i own a 250 ... i guess its just the power diffrence that p*sses me off

    supertrapp ids2 complete system, with k&n and dynojet jet kit....i ran that on the recon and it gave it a ton more bottom-mid and a lil faster on top end. i was able to beat 300ex's in drags with that setup, and its the same engine so you should have similar results.

    He's right for the most part. You could try putting the exhaust, rejet, and filter on it and it will help it some but there just isnt much power there to extract...I know, I used to own one.

    Best thing you can do is do what I did...do no mods, save towards a better quad and try to hang with em in the mean time.

    Trade it in, you can find 400ex pretty cheap now.

    My friend had a bad 250ex it had a pro-circuit pipe, jetkit, and k&n air filter and holeshots it could haul just get that and it will help alot
