    r arms on 400

    does any one know what it would take to put 250r a arms on a 400 ex
    i have heard you just use the stock 400 spacers with r arms

    I think you have to mill those spacers down the are on either side of the bearings.

    The R a-arms are a 1/16th or so wider. You just need to save them down a little on each side. You can use all the R hardware too.

    no other advice -i dont want ot buy 250r a-arms if i caint make them work -even if it a good deal

    Are they stock or aftermarket? If you want me to go out and measure it I will, but wn't be able to get back to you till tommorw. I have an R and EX sitting in the garage. I am possitive, if you take the bushings off the R a-arms and cut them down they will fit. You will also have to cut down the sleave taht goes in the a-arms joint. I am sure it is only a 1/16 or so difference.
