are elkas worth the extra money that it costs over triple rate works? i have a 250ex and i am getting pretty good air on stock suspension but i bottom out ever time i jump. i was wondering if anybody knows if it is worth it to save up more money and buy elkas instead of just buyin works.

From what I know jumping isn't the best thing in the world for shaft driven quads. Sure it can handle lil jumps but anything you would need aftermarket shocks for I wouldn't bother with.

Elka makes a better shock. I run works triples on my 250R and they work great for me. A 250ex doesn't have much travel or the option of having very much travel. My advice would be to get a bigger quad down the road and buy long travel suspension then.
