suzuki z400???

has anyone heard bout this quad??? how does it compare to the ex? I am lookin for somethin bigger than my 250. will the z400 be worth the wait?

on paper it should beat the EX everywhere maybe even in the handling department! i know i'd trade my EX in for one. i guess i'm a suzuki man for life.

I would wait a year or so to see how it holds up to beatings and flaws and everything. Just like the raptors now they got it fixed but 2001 year raptors have problems with tons of things from what i read on bluetraxx.

Yep, that Z400 is going to blow the doors off of the 400EX & Raptor. It looks like it has the same geometry as the 400EX, so it should handle well. I can honestly say I'd consider buying one of those if I got rid of my 400EX. But I'm with Nausty on this....I'll give them some time to prove the reliablity and work out any kinks they have....


Hopefully this will push honda to slap that 450 in the EX frame....

I think its gonna be an awesome quad. I'm guessing its gonna have some small problems though. If they are pricing it the same as the 400EX, they have to be cutting corners somewhere.

Actually, I think it'll have some small stuff that'll get fixed in it's 2nd model year but nothing like the Raptor's tranny. I'd wait for the 2004 version but really wouldn't be scared to buy the 2003.

Why do people think that the Suzuki is going to have problems? Is it because its not a Honda so it must not be reliable? How many of you restrained from getting the 400EX when it came out, just because it was new? Thats what I thought. Me personally, I am getting a job over the summer to start saving up for the Z400, I want that thing SO bad. I almost dont care how it handles.
