    Needle jet

    I'm trying to lower the clip on the needle, my quad is running lean. and if anyone could help I would be greatful. How do I get to the clip the pic that I attached shows where I'm at, what do I do next to get to the clip?

    to get to the clip on the needle do have to take the carb apart or am I going in the right direction?

    Your pic shows three screws one on large one and two small ones down in the slid. pull these screws flip this assembly out of the way , get a pair of needle nose pliers and pull out the needle. move the clip and then reverse.

    I think you have to remove the "arm" and pull out the cylinder and then u will find the needle.
    '00 Budweiser 420SS, XR cam, JE 10.8:1 416 piston, FMF 4Q with Powerbong , AC Pro Pegs, skid & bumper, UniFilter, 6 airbox vents, 42 pilot; 165 main; clip 4 down, chokeless, stock fuel screw position (= 2 1/4 turns out), hydraulic clutch

    Thanks guys for the Help!! I just lowered the clip..... I hope this cures my problem, I won't know till tomorrow my quad is to loud for my neigbors liking........
