what engine oil do you guys use?

I am getting ready to change the oil in mine. I was goin to use valvoline 10w40 is this ok?

Generic Havoline stuff from the auto parts store. Works just as good as the stuff you pay 8$ a bottle for at the Honda shop.

In the old days people use to run differnt weights of oil between the summer and winter. Until now, we have made oil to change the weight on its own. Take 5w30 for example. The W stands for Winter. In cold weathers, it's 5, and summer (hot temperatures) it's 30.
