Change it whenever it looks dirty and whenever it looks broken down or is a different color than normal.

You might want to change your oil IF:

    1. Your bike sounds worse than your grandmother's washer and dryer when you start it.

    2. Your friends get lost in the cloud, when they try to follow you.

    3. You have to pull real hard on the dipstick to remove it.

    4. Your exhaust blows smoke bubbles.

    5. Your remove the drainplug..and nothing happens.

    6. You smell burnt toast everytime you ride.

It depends on how long you ride a day. If you ride 1 hour a day then every 20 days, thats if you want your quad to stay in good condition.

In the owners manuel it says change it every 10 hours. But i change my oil everytime I go to the track. If you have the money change it more often, its worth it to keep your engine healthy. If your at the track or ride it real hard I would change it every 10 hours, as for me I change it everytime I ride. But its only like 2 bucks a quart here and 3.50 for a oil filter. I only ride about once or twice every two weeks so its worth it for me to change it that often.
