When you pick up your 450r from the dealer what is everyone going to take off to loose some weight?
I am thinking handlebar plastic and plastic nerf bars definately. Maybe front fenders and chain guard. What does everyone else think.

There's virtually nothing you can take off the TRX that would remove any appreciable amount of weight. You might save 5lbs. total (with 4 of those pounds coming from the steel frame of the heelguards) from removing those items you listed.

If I do in fact get the 450r I will only be taking off that monster pipe and replacing it with either a Sparks or HMF. Other than that everything else stays. I don't race so really no need for me to.

when i get my 450r soon as i get it home im strippin it down havin the frame sent to the powercoater, orderin ac pro peg nerfs, removin heel guards, takin swing arm skid plate off, front plastics are bein taken off, TC exhaust, Fcr 41mm carb, the honda package, K&n air filter, douglas wheels, holeshot mxr rear, holeshot mx fronts, ac front bumper, tag handle bars, Houser plus 3 long travel a-arms, lsr axle, and ,a skid plate...o yea and i hope quad tech makes a hood for it because im gonna take the head lights off too....
