    Octane With 11:1compression

    what octane should i run in with my new 440 piston?

    You can run up to 11:1 comp on 93 octane

    Yeah but I've read that it will cause the motor to ping,,the remedy though was to mix 93 octane with a 110 octane,, 50/50

    I have ran mine for a while with no problems what so ever using 92 Octane and a little octane boost. It works great plus race gas is about $5 a gallon so a $1.99 thing of octane boost that treats 10 gallons is nothing.

    is 10.5:1 ok for pump gas? Ill just let some carbon build up on my compustion chamber to get my extra compression lol.

    Yup or 10.8:1 from what I've read.
