    Question Clutch?

    My 300 has been vibrating and somewhat humming when the rpms get high. I trying to figure out what is causing it yesterday. I noticed when I pull in the clutch and rev it is vibrates and hums alot. This makes me think that my clutch is either partialy engaged or disengaged (not very familiar with clutches) when riding. Any ideas?

    Are you sure somethings not just loose on your quad. In neutral does it do the dame thing?

    nothing is loose. It does it in every gear.

    if it does it in neutral, i bet something is loose also. i know the heat shields soemtimes come loose on the 400ex's. i would just go through the quad and make sure everything is tight. also, where do you hear the noise coming from? if your not sure, go listen and see if you can pin-point the area.

    Ive tried many times to pin point the noise with no luck. It is coming from inside the engine. Any ideas?
