hes already landed it many times. he said going into the gravity games he had only pulled it off kickers and never off dirt take offs before. that may be why he biffed it but i give him credit for throwin it out there not having it fully down and its such a dangerous trick.

i live in cleveland and i saw him do it right in front of me afterwards when trevor vines was signing autographs pastrana came walking ot his truck he had a concussion and was going to the hospital

He didn't miss the grab. He missed the grip when trying to grab back on. It was pretty crazy though, and the few minutes after were funny, with his 5 minute jaunt through the stands, then the announcer going "you almost landed it!" and Pastrana saying "what'd I try?"
