    Whats better of the 2 carbs???

    For those people that have some experience with these carbs!!! What is a the better carb the Edelbrock or the Lectron carb???

    all the pros use them and they are better (from ewhat i have heard from everyone)

    GO with the FCR,,,the others are good carbs but from what I've read and heard from people using the lectron carbs it will take you forever to get the dang thing dialed in...Also I've heard that with the lectrons they don't wanna idle,,you have to always play with the throttle to keep it running,,,and also the FCR is a drop in carb,,,the other 2 require cutting and bending and reshaping intake tubes and the airbox,,,,,I'll be going with the FCR..

    I use and recommend the FCR as well...

    But if you're dead set on the Lectron or Edelbrock, the Edelbrock is basically an update to the Lectron (which was designed in the '70s).

    Sparks builds them for you and includes new throttle cable for $450.

    As of Friday there were none built but said wouldn't be a prob getting one out to ya within the week.

    yeah i've heard that from sparks before!i waited over a month for an x-6 pipe for my 400,needless to say i went with another company.i really wanted one but couldn't wait all summer for a pipe had to ride!!!!!

    i callerd sparks to get the ignition advance key and they said they would call me back but never did so f them. I'm just gonna get the xr250 cdi cause i heard it advances timing 5 degrees
