For those of you that are interested in the flat proof system that I used at The Wisp....
William Yokley came up tuesday and we gave them the torture test. We rode on a 5 mile track that consisted of about 3.5 miles of creekrock that was very sharp and the rest was fast fire roads!!!
William ran the system in all 4 tires and I didn't run it at all just for comparison sake. We both were running 5psi in the tires.

On the 2nd lap I had 1 rear flat.... changed it and went back out.
On the 4th lap, we decided to stop and look at Yokley's tires. Sure enough he had 1 rear flat and didn't even know it! Just for the fun of it we decided to let the air out of all his tires. We went out for another lap and I could tell right off the bat that William was going much faster than he had with air in his tires. About 3/4 of the way through the lap I had another rear flat.
We got back to the truck where William told us that he was able to click it up 1 gear and go way faster then he thought he could ever have gone in a place that was that rough because the tires/flatproof system were soaking up all the harsh rocks and roots! He said "I have never ridden anything that was that smooth in the rough stuff".

I believe this is gonna make a huge impact for XC and desert racers. Not only will you not have to stop to change flats, but mentally and physically you will be able go much faster through rocks and rough terrain just knowing that you will not get a flat and beat yourself to death.

I cannot talk about the system yet but as soon as the powers that be give me the word, I will post pics and more details about this neat new product.
