    x-6 exhaust poblem

i have a curtissparks x-6 pipe and i cant get the outer shell cover to come off to change the packing. ive took the 3 allen bolts off and even tried to bang it off with a dead blow hammer. its seized on. Anyone have any ideas to get it off?

Too funny, and there such different pipes too

I would first try a little heat, but be carefull not to over do it.

If that doesnt do the trick then I have had luck with a slide hammer and you just need to find a way to attach it to the end cap.

    otherwise theres allways the sawzall

    No prob man good luck.

Seriously though look at those pipes (the silencers anyhow) closely and see how much they are alike, and how similar they both are to the original supertrapp 4" set up just minus the discs, but if you get the spark arrestor for either then its the same set up.

Funny how things are in this stuff
