Our '98 polaris trailblazer has a recoil starter that fails to recoil. I took the cover off, but i'm not sure how to fix it. I think the recoil spring may be bad. I can't figure how to remove the recoil. Any help what be appreciated.

If it doesn't rewind, it's likely the spring.. No idea how to take it apart though, not a polaris guy, sorry
One word of caution, be carefull if you do happen to get it apart.. Got a pretty good gash one day when the spring on my old rotax sled motor got away from me and un-wound in my hand
