    Lightbulb Swapping 300EX handle bars

    I want to get rid of the stock bars. on my 2002 300EX, but the ignition is in the plastic peice covering the handle bars. does any one kno a spot to put my ignition. I was thinking inside the light inbetween the reverse and nuetral lights. any ideas

    I have a set of renthals and they are super strong. Highly recomended. As for relocating the ignition, i think i would put it on the side on the quad, on the front plastic above the fender.

    buy the 87 250x ignition holder from honda dealer for around $14...looks factory...best picture i have of it.

    I have the 87 250x ignition holder also and it looks factory because it is factory. It doesn't quite match my plastic though. Its a little darker red.

    I made an aluminium plate and bolted it on the headlight mount under the headlight bracket. It just fits inbetween the headlight plastic and the bracket. I brushed it out and threw on a couple of layers of mother's aluminium polish. It looks really trick, kinda hardt to get to with big winter gloves on but it looks great.

    Heres mine .. I took my little lights off the plastic for a little while because i have to take my machine apart soon to do some minor work.

    My way is free. Get some electrical tape(free if you already have it ) and tape it to the bars!
