    How to cut turf tamers

Hey hows everybody doing. I am new at this so sorry for any mistakes. I have been riding four about 8 or 9 years now and I am just starting to race mx. I am getting some turf tamers and I was wondering if I should groove (or cut) them and in what pattern. They are size 18/9.5/8 and I got 20 in. razr mxs on the front. Also what would be some other good investments under a thousand dollars besides tires. I already have a pipe, a dynojet kit, and a dail a jet, bars, new clutch lever, kill switch and a couple of other things.

get shocks...it will be like getting a new quad...only groove em if you ride loose or loamy tracks..they will wear faster than leaving them ungrooved..i wish mine still had this much tread
