I was wondering... when I order my K&N for my 400EX if I should also order the adapter that lets you remove the air box completly? Or should I leave the box and just remove the lid?
***I ride only at the dunes and water is never near by.
I'd take the whole dang box off and just run the filter with outerwear of course,,,but I've never road in sand and don't really know much abou the wear and tear it causes....
