well i got a 400ex carb for my 250X and it seems that my stock thumb throttle cable is short for the carb and my air boots wont fit on the carb ...
so what did you guys have to do to make it fit on there ???

You definitely need the 350x airboot. As for the throttle cable try getting a 400ex cable.
