300ex rocker cover on.....

I recently bought a 300ex rocker arm cover with the rocker arms off ebay.... and i noticed there is no decompression release thing.

I plan on putting it on a 250x i am rebuilding....but since there is no decompression release will it still work???? if not, i will just take the rocker arms out of the 300ex cover and put it in the X one........

if anyone knows if it will still work. that would be great..

I think the easiest thing to do would be take the rocker arms out of the cover and put it in the X. I don't think it would be easy to put the decompression lever on the 300ex cover, it might be i've never done it, but i would just do a switcheroo.
