    8 Plate Clutch

Will an 8 plate clutch kit work with the stock basket, center and pressure plate. Also is the one Curtis Sparks and Hinson using made by KG. The Hinson Complete set up in my shops catalog is showing to use the 8 Plate kit by KG.

no, in order to run an 8 plate setup i think you ahve to have the complete hinson insides(basket, inner hub, pressure plate)its kinda pricy..im waiting for my hinson stuff right now..i tihnk its worth the money though

sparks and a few other builders have 8 plate set-ups that work with the stock basket(if not in bad shape). they r like $140 i think maybe more maybe less.

Yes, the 8 plate setup can be done with OEM components.

    See below

I've used a stock based 8 plate setup for quite a while - works great. I didn't even need heavier springs, the extra plate was enough to get the job done. Now I have a strong clutch with a stock feeling pull...
