    Question Changing jets on 300ex?

Is there an easy way to change the main jet size? The only way that I can see is to remove the plastic, gas tank and then the carb.
My friend let me borrow his Big Gun exhaust these past few weeks and I wanted to experiment with the jetting but it seemed like such a pain in the butt.

If it's similar to the 400, there is a 17mm bolt on the bottom of the carb that you might be able to get to, then use a 6mm (I think) socket to take the jet out and screw in a new one. You don't have to take anything off to get to it. If you do this, turn off your fuel first. If it's not that close to a 400, then I don't know.

If you want to make it even easier, loosen the exhaust and header and move it around so your hand can fit in there easier. Otherwise, all is said correct.

Thanks for the help guys. I thought I was making it too complicated.
I got the jetting correct now and all I can say is that the BigGun exhaust is way too loud for me. I mean not too loud for me, but for the neighbors.
