400ex, chain cracked my case did it damage an oil passage?

See on the top right of this pic there is a threaded rod. Well right above that is a hole. My chain popped off and crushed that hole pretty good. I was hoping to just JB weld this cracked case but I seen this and got worried. Anyone know if that hole does something?
Edit: its not quite top right at about the 2 oclock position where it looks like the flywheel and starter gear meet.
