'06 450er carburetor switch assembly

I pulled the cover off where the throttle cable goes into and noticed a switch for the idle adjustment had the wires cut. I am not sure what the switch is for and on the diagram it just says it's the carburetor switch assembly?diagram.jpg

safety feature. between that and the switch on the actual throttle assembly. if throttle assembly senses the throttle is not applied and the one on the carb senses an open throttle it thinks there is a stuck throttle so it kills spark. any one who has added a twist throttle or changed the carb or thumb lever has by passed it.
