    my blaster kx250 hybrid

Started out making a cr125/blaster hybrid. Got it done, rode it around and had some fun. But needed more. Ripped out the cr motor and started to remove tubing to make the swap. I had to trim the swingarm a little bit more since I already cut it for the cr motor. So far, I have fitted some pipes where they are going. Going to run some cross tubes and gusset as much as I can.

Thanks. It's fun to build. Just curious how it will perform and what kind of gearing I will need.

It takes a lot of measuring. At least it did when I put the cr motor in it. The kx didn't take a lot to get in. Just had to grind a little more off the swingarm. I use the chain and the sprockets to make sure everything is lined up coreectly. When they do, I make the motor mounts. I will make the front mounts first and weld them in then flip it over and make the lower mounts.

I hope you have some more (different) tires. You're gonna roast those. haha
You should be able to go a bit taller on the gear. You're going to have a lot more bottom end. BRAAAAAAP

I plan on getting 20x11x9 HD holeshots. The rear gearing is very limited with the yamaha sprocket hub. I'm planning to get a lonestarracing yamaha to Honda sprocket hub so I can run honda sprockets. More range of gearing choices that way.
