    450r spindles with DC arms.

I have everything bolted up and the only problem I have found so far is the drr tie rod ends are too big for the honda spindles. They are the 04/05 spindles.
Anybody ever done this? Want did you do to fix. Different tie rod end or ream/machine out the spindle?

    Thanks for all the help

I would call up G-Force and get his Allballs tierod kit and install that.It will require some mods but will be stronger and i think you will be better off in the end.

Gonna bring this one to the top again.
I got the tie rod end situation figured out.
Has anybody on here ever run this setup? I have a few questions.
Really need help. We have a race next weekend and this is all that is keeping me from finishing this deal up.

    Thanks

So the issue I am having now is that when I bolt everything up, it is really stiff to turn. The problem is in the spindle/a-arm pivot. I helped it somewhat by adjusting the top arms out as far as I can, but it is still what I would consider too stiff. Did you have issues like this?
I didn't have any machine work done, don't know if I was supposed to?

Got any pics? Are the arms adjustable? Have you checked the caster and camber angles? it sounds like the caster is what is causing your problems. If the upper arms are adjustable where they mount to the frame, use a rod end/hiem joint, make sure both upper arms are equal. When I set up a quad with those I turn the rod ends in as far as they can go and still be in the proper position for mounting. then I take the aft rod end on the upper arm and turn it out 2 turns. Do this on both upper arms. That gives me a good starting point to start checking caster. Most of the time I haven't had to touch it as it fell right into spec.

I'll set the caster, camber then do my toe adjustment last. When i check the caster and camber I make sure the tire is as close to straight as possible. Here are your settings.

    Caster: Positive 5 - 7*
    Camber: Negative 1 - 3*

If there is no binding what does it ride at with your rider on the quad?Have you set up the shocks for your rider yet?
