Why wouldn't you want a rekluse? Those are some of the best clutches around and if you've ever used one you most likely would not go back. 90% of woods racers run rekluse.

Have you ever used one? My friend has one and he says it shifts hard at high rpm is this a common thing?

I use one, they're very expensive and they do require adjustment, but they're hands down AWESOME! You don't even need the clutch, but you can still use it. I do still use the clutch at high rpm's to smooth out the shifting. The main thing is that you can slow down to a stop in any gear and it will not die.

Yeah I think I'm going to get one people say you can't use the motor to slow the bike down but I don't really think that it will bother me

Couple things could be wrong, first one of your opponents could have dropped a Viagra into the bottom end of your motor when you weren't looking. or you need to work out more.

    Glad I could help.

nobody has suggested oiliing your cable. they get stiff from sitting, oil it up by the cable adjustment on the lever, i've had this happen and it will immediately become a nice clutch, try that first. Also, did you get the rekluse? i thoroughly enjoy mine. One of the best mods i've done.....you have to run one to know what i'm talking about......can't be the guy who sits around saying they're no good without having any previous experience.

i knew you would, most people that have them absolutely won't go back.

Anybody who asks you "why would you want a recluse" is obviously a person who has never ran one. They're very popular and outstanding for a woods rider/racer.
