    50cc mx tire choice??

Having a new Malossi 50cc DRR built with a mach 1 pipe for nationals and was wondering thoughts on rear tire size. I would like to run 18x8x8 quad crosses but don't know if it will have the power, they work great on the 70. What is the most popular tire running on them? Thanks

    90% of the 50's I have seen run a 16" tire.

the DWT MX jr was the best tire we ever used on our 50's, run a 18/35 gear set up, and get up out of the ruts that you get stuck in with 16's

As said the DWT mx works great on ours and we have the same engine set-up.

Thanks Everyone, We ran an indoor 2 weeks ago with it and ran 18/9/8 maxxis 940's with a 19/32 sprocket combo. It seemed to have enough power with them on it indoors. outdoors may be different tho
