We just switched my oldest boy from a built apex 90 to the 250 raptor, he has been racing since he was 4 and is now 13, he did race a 125 raptor last year when he blew up his apex, just waiting to see how well he does in the school boy jr class this year. My youngest boy is running the apex till I can find a 125 raptor for him I am tire up those money pit mini's

Sweet. Give Jason at Precision Motorworx a shout if you wanna do any motor work to a Raptor 125. He pjts a lot of time into these motors.

Haven't made an update in a while, but we have raced the first 2 ATV National races in GA and TN and done alright. Braden def had to get used to the competition level going from local races to the Nationals. The Raptors def seem a little under powered compared to the modified Hondas in the 4 stroke 125 class, but Jason at PMW is working on that for us right now.

The first National in GA Braden got 8th place overall out of 11 or 12 kids. We aren't able to make it there to practice on Fridays, so he doesn't really get comfortable with the track until the 2nd motos on Sunday. Hopefully we can get to the High Point race to practice on Friday this time.

We also ran the 4 stroke in the 90 shifter class since out Yamazuki (RM85/Raptor 125) wasn't done yet.

Then we went to TN for round 2 and got 8th and 5th for a 6th overall out of 9 kids. Still didn't get there in time to practice on friday.

We also got to try out the Yamazuki for the first time here in the shifter class. Braden obviously wasn't comfortable on it yet, but at least it got broken in well and made it through the weekend.

Braden didn't have his best weekend of racing in the D13 race last weekend at South Fork Competition Park, but he still came away with a 4th overall in 90 production and 90 mod. He was not in the right gear coming out of turns, and not upshifting as often as he should have, but after some video coaching this week, hopefully he can improve for the next race at High point next weekend.
