    starter clutch

    I found this kit on ebay and was wondering if i should replace anything else other than the stuff in the kit. Mine is completely shot. Thanks

    I like how he calls it an update kit. I don't believe Honda ever updated anything from the original design, but maybe somebody can verify this. I know they were replacing some free of charge for a while, but I've seen some replaced ones go bad too.

    Yeah as far as i know nothing was updated. Ive also seen replaced ones go out within a year or so..I wouldnt buy the whole kit. I believe you can buy what only really needs replaced cheaper than that

    That's everything that should be replaced to do the job correctly, though you may be able to reuse the locking washer for the clutch basket.

    I just quoted everything that's there on service Honda for 206....that's with the correct side cover gasket.. if I paid 50 bucks too much and got the wrong side cover gasket with this "kit" I would be one mad mother ****....haha and yes I know the gasket is a sample, just making laughs
