F/S: Web 493/739 Camshaft (Billet, RBC, Flange Welded, with Carrier)

Up for sale is a Web 493/739 cam for various years of Honda TRX450R's and CRF450R's (see below) . The cam is billet, has reduced base circles, and has the flange welded. The cam has the numbers "439/739" etched into it, but I bought it from member 'mx333' on the ORG who had Laurie at Web Cams put it in her cam doctor to verify that it indeed is a 493/739 and the etching was a mistake by one of their employees. The cam is in excellent condition and sells for $340 brand new.

    Cam Fits:
    2004 - 2009 Honda TRX450R ATVs
    2006 - 2007 Honda TRX450ER ATVs
    2002 - 2006 Honda CRF450R Dirt Bikes

    Carrier Fits:
    2004 - 2009 Honda TRX450R ATVs
    2006 - 2007 Honda TRX450ER ATVs
    ...maybe others?

Description of this cam from Web: High lift, short duration racing profile. Excellent throttle response. Requires Exhaust System, High Compression Piston, Larger Diameter Followers, Shortened Valve Guides, and Performance Valve Spring Kit. Check ALL clearances!

    Valve Lift: .415/.410
    Duration: 276°/276°
    Duration at .050": 252°/248°
    Grind Number: 493/739

I also have a cam carrier/tower that can come with it as well, includes the carrier, rocker arm, decompressor assembly, and buckets.

The only reason I'm selling this is because I've decided to go with a 208/921. Prices are firm, if it doesn't sell, I have no problem keeping this cam as I wouldn't mind trying it out down the road.

    Cam only: SOLD
    Carrier assembly only: $40 shipped/paypal'd

Thank ya brotha, and yes, you definitely need a good set of springs for this cam. Kibblewhite dual rate springs or better.

Why are you choosing a 208 over this 493? This cam is a little bigger then the 208 is..

The 208 provides more over rev than this cam does (when both are installed straight up...no advancing or retarding). Most of my in-season riding is done in the 7,500-10,500 RPM range.
