    trx450er tail light question. please help

    will the tail light off a 2006 Honda Trx450er work on a 2005 Honda Trx450r?

    Well according to the part numbers ('04-'05- 33700/HP1-003 and '06+/33700-HP1-601) they won't work. I think they have different plugs on the back of them. An '05-'06 400ex tailight is the same part number though if you can find one of those. Maybe try and get the '04-'05 450 taillight with the plug and bit of the harness on it???? I'm sure you could splice it onto your factory harness and it'll work.

    its not for me. im selling my tail light that came off my 2006 Honda trx450er that was stolen from me.
    the person who wants to buy it has a 2005 honda trx450r.

    idk what to tell them
