    300ex clutch disengages, but wont disengage!

    hey guys, my buddy and me just re built (top and bottom end) a 96 300ex, clutch worked before hand but now the clutch wont disengage. its not the cable, we turned the lever with a wrench. took the side cover off, and we physically disengaged the clutch with a bottle jack and board. so what in the world would prevent the clutch from working right? any help is greatly appreciated!

    Are the clutch disk's stuck together? I know sometime's they will stick together. check them.

    no, we have had it apart a few times, the clutch was "new" but ran with no oil - hence the blown up motor lol.. but we mic'ed the plates, fibers are just above service limit and the steel plates are .50, service limit is .80 so those are worn out..
