    Starting Quicker

    Does anyone have any tricks on how to get your 400 to start faster..mine starts fine but just wondering if there are any tricks to make it start faster to get the holeshot.

    I hooked up a dual battery on mine and it starts pretty decent.

    I was just doing some testing one day trying to figure out the same thing.

    If i have mine sitting there idling, i push the throttle in to about 1/4 throttle and shut it off, staying on the throttle.

    Then it usually starts pretty quick.

    better battery. I use the busa battery, cranks over my machine great.

    Make sure your jetting is spot on, that your valves are adjusted perfect, 08+ Suzuki busa battery, or 24 volt starting system (dual battery)

    The 24v system is easy to install, and it will crank over twice as fast.
