I installed my new aftermarket carrier today and had everything just about back together and realized my axle would not turn. Turns out the sprocket was hitting the side of the carrier. What would be causing this? I have a gforce axle if that helps.

Its hitting the sprocket bolts right?
What brand carrier?
I've seen this happen with a few brands of carriers on 06+ bikes with gforce sprocket hubs.
Only solution of seen people come up with is shaving a little bit of metal off of the corner of the carrier flange.

I ran into this several times when installing a g-force axle in an east coast carrier. Like stated above we just trimmed the carrier with a grinder

Installed 2 of those on 2 different 06+ bikes with gforce axles, both had the problem.
They are crap carriers in general, I went through 3 of them in a few months before East Coast refunded my money.
One of which only lasted 3 laps around a track.
Switched to an RPM carrier, been in there for 2 seasons, going on 3.
