    I need a longer throttle cable - IDEAS?

    Hey guys, I've got a Honda style thumb throttle going into a Keihin carb. The cable that came with the throttle is not long enough to reach the carb (For a DRR or Apex). Any ideas on what factory cable would work?
    It's about 2 inches short -----story of my life!!!!

    Thanks. I wonder if anyone knows the actual length of one? That cable would make sense, its made for pretty much what I'm doing.

    The 250r would have to be for the 86 87 model the 88 89 have a linkage in the throttle asm.I agree though it should be long enough,if not;
    I will have some made I am going to offer the build as a bolt in Mod kit for the Can Am
    If you can't see it,you can't reach it !

    You want to sell it if you have one. I really don't want to deal with my local Honda shop.....

    Heck you could have it if I could find it. I looked but it's MIA.

    Just bypass the Honda shop (ours sucks too) and call Motion Pro and buy one direct from them. They're great to deal with.

    I have a Cobra with an RM 85 in it. The cable I got it with cross referenced to a Motion Pro 84 to 85 ATC 250R. The outer sheath measured 41". Is this on a DRR? The Mach 1 cable from Hot Quads will work on that. It threads into the Honda throttle or newer DRR.
