stock is very difficult to press off. I replaced one on a LSR axle, that was very difficult aslo, its sprocket hub had to be heated and then barely went on. I have taken off hubs before on badly bent/broken axle. I used a piece of pipe, car jack and another larger piece of metal. Taking it off, I put the axle w/ brake side up, piece of pipe over other side(against the hub), car jack under axle and piece of metal between axle and major header in my basement. Cranked the car jack untill snap ringwas easil gotten to. Removed axle and removed snap ring. Then reversed the axle and used jack to press off hub. I was kikinda back woods style, but it worked.
