valve clearances?????

i am about to start working on a neighbors 88' mojave. he complains it does not want to start from kicking in. i am thinking it is a valve adjustment away from starting.... does anyone know the clearances for the intake and exhaust valves???? or better yet if anyone has a pdf of the service manual would be perfect.

intake and exhaust should be .008 inches, check your cam/timing chain too. Mine was stretched to all hell and it probably is skipping time, if it is stretched the tensioner is on the right side of the cylinder towards the bottom if you are looking at the left side of the quad.
