Rancher idles rough

ive got a 2000 rancher, starts and runs fine but seems to me it idles rough. ive thoroughly cleaned carb and blown out all vent lines. i have adjusted valves, new plug and fresh fuel. ive got air screw 2.5 turns out. it doesnt ever die but seems to come close. maybe this is how they run, im not sure. any ideas?

Idles rough as in idles low? Or just has an inconsistant idle or what?
